Say what, Kelsi??!!

On Monday we went to the Goodman's for family night. Jesse's sister Melinda prepared the funnest FHE for the kids...well, when Papa G asked the kids who the prophet was, Kelsi's hand shot right up and she had that "pick me, pick me" look, so excited...and then shouts,
"BARACK OBAMA!"
She is learning all about the president in Kindergarten and has learned all kinds of interesting facts about him. I guess it had her a little confused. We straightened her out real quick!!!!

Yep, that was a classic that will stick with her forever! I love the look she got on her face when she KNEW what the "right" answer was. Ha, silly girl. At least you know now she listens in school.

First of all love your HAPPY HEADER...it is beautiful! How cute is that? I know when I talk to my students and ask them about the building on the back of a penny...9 out of ten will say the temple...and I have been known to lead the pledge and start it by I AM A CHILD OF GOD...talk about living our religion to the fullest.

Out of the mouths of babes...very cute story!

I wanted to express my condolences for the Goodman family...Brody just told me he had heard that Val had lost a nephew...he knew no details but I know that the whole Goodman family has been deeply heartbroken and I just wanted to say that you all are in my thoughts and prayers and I am so sorry.
