Spring Fling!

Every year our neighborhood throws a Neighborhood Block Watch party called the "Spring Fling". This is the 3rd one that we have been able to attend and it gets more fun each year as my girls get older. We have a rock climbing wall, 3 huge boucers, cotton candy/snow cone machines, fun games, hotdogs, even fire engine rides. It's great being able to let our kids roam wild while we enjoy visiting with friends.
We really have a tight knit little community over here. Every once and a while I want to go look at model homes in Gilbert and move into a "new" house. These events are what keeps me here. I love our neighbors and our neighborhood.

What a cute family you have!! I'm not sure if you remember me, we worked together at Haws flowers. I am also married to your dad's cousin Phillip Skinner. I had fun looking at your blog.

Crazy fun - that's what it is! We have the rockin-est neighborhood. I know, Steve and I have "looked" at new homes in Gilbert and we pretty much have decided we are stuck because we've been sucked into this neighborhood!

I finished two of the tutus last night. I'll do the the 3rd today. They are turning out really cute! I did the mermaid one (aqua and green)then I did a pink and green one. I did the babies dress purple and green. Then I did green polka dot ribbons on all 3 so they match. I can't wait to see the pictures!

You are so lucky to live in a great family community like that. So nice to have kids your childrens age to play with in the neighborhood. Maybe one day we will get that lucky.

Neighborhood events like that are sooo fun. I have the same feeling about our neighborhood. We live in an "older home" neighborhood (ours was built in the 80s, but some are from the 60s) but it's been voted one of the best neighborhoods in Logan. I get sad thinking that some day we may have to move when Rob finishes his PhD.

How fun!! If you ever do move you could start that tradition in your new neighborhood and your neighbors would love it as you do!
